Rise and Resist Protest The NY Times’ Normalization of evil

New York, NY. December 3, 2025.

Rise and Resist, a group of beloved activists, took action outside The New York Times' DealBook Summit, calling out the platforming of key figures behind the Trump regime.

Ben Shapiro, David Ellison, Brian Armstrong, Alex Karp, Scott Bessent, a lineup of some of the most harmful actors shaping that agenda, were given a stage. Rise and Resist showed up to call out the NY Times who offered these horrible people a platform, and to single out the bad speakers in front of their peers.

RESIST.

NYPD gave threats of arrests but did not follow through. Many passers-by thanked the group for their protest.
